Thank you for your reply. Athletes have a passion for what they do. However, it's nice to show them how to balance their passion with something that will relax and balance the body out a little. Muscle release techniques and stretches are a nice way to start.
Thank you for your response. Chronic pain makes everything in life hard to enjoy. My goal is to understand where the pain originates from and how to move forward from here. Always let me know if something isn't working for you.
Thank you for your feedback. I try not to overdue it on explanations. My clients have found it helpful to know what muscles are causing them discomfort and what to work on when they do stretches and releases. It helps them make their self care time more effective. I am always open to suggestions if you have any.
I completely understand. At this time, our state requires face coverings at massage studios. I also understand if you want to wait to schedule your next session until they are no longer required. I am glad the massage brought you relief. I am always open to suggestions from clients to help them feel more comfortable.
Thank you for your feedback. While the past year has presented many challenges for massage therapists, many of the protocols we follow now have been something we were already doing. My first priority is keeping you protected, respected and safe. If you have any concerns, please reach out to me. I am listening. :)

Thank you for your input. While I am only one piece of your self care team, I take it seriously. Any time you come into a massage, I will check in with you that day and see what areas you need more focus on. I am always open to any suggestions you have.
Thank you for your input. Always remember to advise me of any areas you need special attention to and I will always have a stretch or self release technique for you to go home with ! :)
While I don't like to talk the entire time, I will occasionally check in with clients regarding pressure and any discomfort during stretches or other work. Thank you for your feedback.
Thank you for your feedback. Please always take the opportunity to advise me if something doesn't work well. However, I am glad you are getting benefit from our sessions. :)
Thank you for your reply. Due to COVID-19, The state of Michigan requires me to now use a HEPA air filtration system at all times. I also have soft music playing in the background and a small nature sound machine. At your next appointment, let me know and one of those can be turned off so you aren't distracted. :)
thank you for your input. The first and most important thing I can do is listen to you and watch you move. It's important you have time to tell me what's going on before I make a plan of treatment. It's really about you and how I can help you get some relief.
One of the best ways I can make clients feel comfortable is explain what muscles or tissues I will be working and why. This gives you the chance to provide input and feedback regarding what you want and don't want during the massage.
It's important I let you know where I'm going to work so you feel comfortable with the process. I always encourage feedback during the session if something is not working for you.
Thank you for your reply. While I don't like to go overboard with anatomy, I feel it's important to show clients what muscles are affected so you can focus the stretches and get the relief you need. As always, I am here for any questions or feedback.
Thank you for your review. I think it's important to connect with every single client and make them feel safe and understood. Please feel comfortable giving me feedback during our sessions. This is about what you need and how I can best help you.
Thank you for supporting our local massage therapists. Like many, I encourage you to give me feedback during sessions if there is anything that doesn't work for you. I am here to give you the best treatment I can during our sessions.
Thank you for your feedback. Often clients leave a massage without any instruction on at home or on the road care for their pain or discomfort. I like to give simple, effective ways of self care to my clients.
Thank you for your feedback. If there is anything that is not up to your standards during our sessions, let me know. I will do what I can to get you the massage you need.
Keeping clients safe is a top priority. I also feel clients are often ready for some techniques and stretches they can use at home or anywhere to keep chronic pain or discomfort under control. If there's every a stretch or muscle release technique that doesn't work for you, let me know. I can adjust them to your situation.
I appreciate your feedback. Checking in with you regarding pressure is important. Some parts of the body can take a little more, some a little less. Also, the stretches and muscle releases give you some control over managing your discomfort. If I can do more, please let me know.
Thank you for your feedback. Like most massage therapists, I continue learning about the career that I love doing. I love sharing a little bit of knowledge with my clients so they know what's going on with their bodies too.
Thank you for the feedback. Given the current health environment in our world, massage therapists are taking extra steps to keep our clients safe, healthy, and relaxed. Thank you for supporting us.
Thank you for your feedback. Every client body is different. Our daily lives are different. Our activities are different. It's important that I ask questions and provide answers and pain relief techniques that work for you and your lifestyle.
Thank you for your feedback. I try to give clients what they need during our sessions. Life is busy and it's important I share ideas and techniques to help you until the next time I see you.
Thank you for your feedback. Communicating with clients before the session helps them feel more comfortable about the work I will be doing and it gives you some control over your care. I love what I do and being a partner in your health care.
Thank you for your feedback. There are a lot of good therapists here and we are integrating techniques that not only make our jobs easier, but also help our clients receive the results they need. thank you for supporting us.
thank you for your review. I love what I do. I continue to make sure I address the most prominent needs of your body first and incorporate techniques that give you the relief you need. I also believe that clients appreciate the explanation of what is going on with their bodies. So glad I could help you.
Thank you. It's important to me to educate clients on the muscles that are causing discomfort and show them ways to relieve pain or discomfort until I see them again. I always encourage feedback on what worked or didn't work for a client. It will help me improve. Thanks for your feedback.
Thank you for your feedback. I always try to remain professional and often instruct clients with releases and stretches they can do for their shoulders. I apologize if that came off the wrong way. I will definitely work on my communication style during these instructional moments. Again, thank you for your feedback.
Thank you for your feedback. My first goal is to make sure you get what you need during our sessions and to share any tips for self care until our next session. I love what I do and always tailor the massage and self care for every client.
Thank you for your review. Any feedback you can give me is welcome. I think it's important to take the time to talk to a client and find out how they move, put them through some tests to see which muscles are affected, and move forward with a solid massage plan and stretches and releases the client can do.
I am glad you received the relief you needed. I often give clients easy muscle releases and stretches to do each day until they book again with me. I encourage you to practice those and if you ever have questions or need a refresher on how to do them, reach out to me or visit my youtube channel under Fahrenheit Massage.
Thank you. Recovering after a surgery is not easy. Even when you are getting physical therapy or doing other recovery exercises or practices, it's good to have a massage therapist as part of your recovery team. Keep taking the recovery day by day. Every little thing you do will help.
Thank you ! As moms go through their pregnancy, it gets hard to lie down on the floor to roll out tension or do stretches. Working on expectant mothers is a treat for me because I can share tension release techniques they can do anywhere ! This gives you options to help you get through the pregnancy.
People forget or just don't know that getting a massage is so beneficial. We find inconsistencies and tension in the body that are affecting posture, chronic pain, lack of mobility, stress, and even mood. Helping clients understand the total picture is part of doing what we love to do.
Thank you! I feel that educating clients about what muscles are causing their troubles helps clients with more efficient self care until I see them again.
Thank you ! You want to continue doing the activities you are passionate about. It's my job to do the bodywork to keep you there and to continue educating client and sharing easy and efficient tips for daily self care that is mobile and they can do anywhere.
I feel it's important to take the time to watch a client move, put them through some testing, and really TALK TO THEM so I give you what you need to stay mobile and pain free as possible. The session is about YOUR NEEDS and giving you what you need. Always reach out to me if you have questions !
thank you. I think it's important to show clients what muscles are affected before I show the self care techniques and stretches so you know where to target and safely practice the release and stretching techniques.
Clients are interested in knowing exactly where they need to focus their release and stretching. I love sharing knowledge with you and giving you control over your pain or stress.
Thank you for your response. I need a little light to work by, but have been looking for a happy medium. I also like educating clients about the muscles affected. You deserve to know what's going on with your body so you can do the release and stretching techniques more effectively.
I believe in educating my clients on what muscles are causing problems. It gives you some control over your treatment and when you do the self care muscle releases and stretches I provide, you are able to target those areas and have greater effectiveness when you practice self care.
Thank you ! Often deep tissue work on muscles that have been tense for months makes you a little sore the next day. I share ways clients can ease some of that and move on to feeling great and increased mobility the days following. So glad you are feeling better and have ways you can take care of yourself until our next visit.
Thank you! It's important that I share information and educate athletes on the muscle groups causing problems. Keeping you mobile and pain free is my goal. Giving you muscle release techniques and targeted stretches keep you doing what you love and performing at your best.
Thank you ! Deep tissue shouldn't really hurt, but if done properly, you will feel it exactly where a trigger point is. I like to check in with clients to make sure pressure is what they want, but not to fill up the quiet space they need to relax. As always, I will tailor the massage to what you need that day.
Pregnant moms often they have low back pain, for instance. I like to share tips and secrets on how to release & stretch the muscles causing the pain. It often helps to make the duration of pregnancy easier to handle.
You're welcome! If you ever have questions or concerns, reach out to me.
Thank you! It's very helpful for scoliosis patients when a massage therapist takes time to find out where any thoracic and/or lumbar curvature exist and to what degree. Clients like knowing I'm interested and I like being able to tailor the stretching and massage to their particular condition.
Thank you ! I don't like to fill up client sessions with too much talk, but it's important I re-evaluate my pressure and get client feed back. If something isn't working for a client during the session, I can always adjust the pressure or technique to make it work. The main focus is to make sure you get what you need.
Thank you for the review. It's important that I explain to clients what is going on with their bodies to the best of my knowledge and give them tools and muscle release techniques. Clients needs ways to release the muscles and manage pain until the next time they see me. So glad I could help you.
This is good news. I love it when clients can come in less frequently because we've worked together to give them tools they can use on their own when pain or discomfort happens. It gives client a sense of control and freedom in their pain management so they don't feel so helpless. Thanks for sharing !
I appreciate that. I like giving my clients some information on what I will be doing to help them and why. This gives clients the opportunity to say they aren't comfortable with something and I can individualize their treatment to make sure they get what they want and need.
I appreciate that. People get used to pain and discomfort being their norm, or baseline. Massage therapists help you realize it shouldn't be. Once you know how your body should feel, it's easier to recognize pain, discomfort, imbalance earlier. Educating clients on safe ways to relieve discomfort is part of my job.
I love what I do for a living. I also feel that clients are smarter than we give them credit for. A little time and education with a client goes a long way in helping them do some self care muscle releases and stretches until you can see me next time. Clients like having some control over their pain management and mobility.
Thank you! Keeping thorough treatment records for each client helps. It gives me a chance to review specific needs you may have and continue developing a plan to move forward with your treatment.
It's my job to LISTEN TO YOU. To explain what I'm going to do, make sure you're comfortable with the chosen course of treatment, and give you techniques for pain relief to use anywhere you are. I like educating clients and letting them have some control over their care.
Thank you for your feedback. I'll keep making sure the athletes I work on feel stretched and released. Stretching typically only takes the last 10 minutes of a massage. I check in with clients before, during and after the massage to make sure they're satisfied. I encourage every client to speak up during massage so I can make adjustments and not waste time on what doesn't work for them. Thanks again for your feedback.
Many masssge therapists use cotton or flannel face covers. No need to worry though. I put a fresh, sanitized cover on for each client for their protection and comfort. Thank you for your comments.
Thank you for the review. The most important thing I can do when clients come see me is alleviate their immediate pain and show them stretches and other techniques when they can't get in to see me. It's important that I give them tools they can use and put some control in their hands regarding their care.
Thank you for your advice. I always look for ways to improve. The website says sports bras suggested for Thai massage. I left it out of the sports massage. Many athletes end up requesting deep tissue work on the shoulders, neck or muscles in the thoracic region where a sport bra would get in the way. I value your opinion and will communicate to my clients in a better manner.
I am sorry the experience was not what you wanted. To keep mom and baby safe, pregnancy massages are not done in prone/face down position. Especially in the last trimester. The draping technique and use of pillows is one of the most efficient and safe for side line position. I keep very short, filed nails to avoid scratching clients. I frequently check in with clients regarding pressure and encourage them to speak up. I appreciate the feedback and will continue to make improvements.
Full body massages always feel great ! One of my favorites to give. Often, however, once I start talking with a client at the beginning of a session, they have some chronic pain areas that take extra time and work. I want you to be pain free, but I encourage clients to tell me exactly what they want out of a session. I'm here to make your session the way you want it. Thank you for the feedback .
A nice dark room is always a cozy setting. I try to keep a little light so I can see how the muscles are reacting and see a some of the intricate work I do with the connective tissues, and specific points where muscles connect to the spine and structures there. But I do agree, a dark room tends to help us relax. Thank you for your feedback.
Definitely for just straight swedish/relaxation massage, constant contact and long strokes are a must. But once clients start talking to me, they end up wanting deep tissue (myofascial release or neuromuscular therapy) done. Those techniques often require a therapist move around a little to work on specific areas of the body. Thanks for the feedback and I will work on making my swedish massage strokes longer.
A very good idea ! I will be looking for a good fitting bench, at the very least, to put in the room so we can comfortably put our shoes back on. Thank you for the suggestion.
