One of my teachers defined compassion as “presence with warmth”, and this has become a personal ideal. At Full Moon Healing Arts, “skill” is the third aspect of the foundation to my work. I strive to bring this trinity to each session, by meeting my clients where they are at, listening deeply to them, and using my knowledge and experience to aid them in inhabiting their bodies and their lives with more ease. To be of service, every day, is my intention.
I want to address my focus on women. I have been passionately devoted to women & women’s health for my entire life. When I started my massage practice, it was because of this. I expanded my practice by becoming a Certified Fertility Awareness Educator because I wanted more tools and options for addressing “women’s health” issues. However, along the way I have become better educated on gender. I want to be clear that I welcome trans & nonbinary clients. While I still use the word “women” on my website because it’s the best way to convey my focus and filter prospective clients, I apologize for not being more inclusive in my language.
