Mountain Sun is a well-loved neighborhood spa in Kirkland, WA. We are therapist owned and run, and pride ourselves on taking exceptional care of our clients and our staff.Mountain Sun opened in October of 2004 and specializes in therapeutic massage, professional facial treatments, body wraps, and waxing services personalized to your needs in a soothing, friendly environment. Our spa is located just south of Totem Lake and includes abundant free parking.

If you have an injury or issue, Yeondo is technical and thorough in her approach to resolve. Extensive anatomical knowledge allows her to address root of issues. I had a knee issue, to my surprise she solved by working on my hip. Doctors and PT concentrated on my knee but Yeondo fixed me!

Yeondo is wonderful person who brings a great deal of experience to her work. In our case my son lives with daily pain and a lot of contracture and after a session with yeondo he can relax and have much more access to his limbs. I feel a great deal of confidence in Yeondo's work and feel lucky to have her on the team to help assist with facilitation for my son over time.

The massage was one of the worst I've had, unfortunately. I asked for more pressure 3 times and it didn't improve. The technique also seemed to be lacking, as she never got into any of the knots in my back (and I have a lot of them). I won't be returning.

My neck and head hurt before I got home. I didn't like how my neck was pressed on. Then she sort of just had her hand there. No moving it around. I waited to see if she had some kind of technique, because I'm not a massage therapist so maybe I don't know so I let her do her thing. But by the time I got home I couldn't turn my head to look left or right. I had a headache once I got home. It was very frustrating that I felt worse after a massage. The rest of my body was ok. I've had several massages in the past. Jus glad it was a gift card and I didn't pay for it. Won't go there again.

I can't say enough good things about Mountain Sun Massage and Skin Care. I've been receiving medical massage here for about three years, 1x per week. So ~150 visits or so... During that time, I've had absolutely zero complaints. A little about my story... I was in an auto accident in 2008, where my cervical vertebrae were damaged. In 2015 I had surgery on it, and unfortunately, my condition only worsened. It's not uncommon for me to flare up and lose complete range of motion in my neck. Some days I cannot even get out of bed. Yeondo and the team at Mountain Sun have been helping me manage this over the years. I primarily see Yeondo. Yeondo is very attentive to detail and genuinely cares about helping people feel their best. When Yeondo is not available, I see the other staff members, and there is never a disconnect in my treatment. They are all very well trained and discuss the patient's treatment, so the handoff, when needed is successful.
