First massage at SOzen. I will be going back. And I will be recommending Susan to others. Now the rest of the story... 1. Susan was very attentive before massage to understand my previous experiences and my objectives for the massage. 2. SOzen suite in downtown Kingsport is very nice. It was quiet, lighting and music was calming, and decorations are tasteful. 3. Susan communicated as needed during the session to get my input or to explain what she was doing. 4. Susan moved between areas, explaining that leaving an area to rest/relax and then going back to it can be more effective. 5. At the end I honestly wasn’t sure how effective my massage was. The “Integrative Massage” seemed to have a lot of feel this muscle, poke at that one with less “massage” than I had previously experienced. It seemed some of her techniques seemed very delicate and I wasn’t sure she had really worked out the knot in my back but I knew the proof would be how I felt when I got up the next morning. Today (day after massage), I got up with no sore muscles. Note to self: you have no idea how a good massage is done but Susan does and she does it well! A massage gem is hidden in downtown Kingsport called SOzen Massage Therapy!
