It was the day of my departure for vacation when I pulled my back muscle and was in severe pain. My first thought was to reach out to Jonathan to see if he could squeeze me to provide me with some relief. He was able to squeeze me in and treated me immediately with the Korean magnets which have worked for me in the past with a more severe muscle pull in the same area. He assessed me and strategically placed the tiny magnets on and around my hands to treat my back muscle. I felt immediate relief and could sit and stand with less discomfort than when I arrived. I've had a chronic back problem for sometime I've been to Jonathatwice now and I'm already seeing a lot of improvement. I have never tried shiatsu before but I'm really surprised at how my body is reacting to it. Jonathan has really taken the time to work with me thus far and is really pushing me so I get better. I’ve seen Jonathan twenty times over a 9 month period & typically schedule a next day appointment when I’m hurting beyond what over the counter & prescription drugs can manage. I normally have immediate relief that helps me to walk straighter & taller with a spring in my step that enables me to have a good night sleep and to return to work doing construction that require flexibility, strength & coordination. At least until I re-injury myself with long & strenuous periods of work without rest. I was referred to Jonathan by my primary care physician. I have carpal tunnel syndrome & degenerative neck disease. Due to sprains, dislocations, concussions, etc from sport injuries, one auto accident & 20 yrs on a computer. I’ve been retired 20 months and am busy doing home repair, construction and remodeling on a full time basis that severely taxes my aging body. I’ve tried traditional and non traditional medicines and am happy to have found Jonathan. I appreciate his senior rate since my insurance doesn’t cover this. His office has a modest but nice Japanese/Chinese traditional healing arts atmosphere with jazz music in the bkgd & I always able to find parking.
