My inspiration for entering a position as licensed & board certified therapeutic massage and bodywork as Lymphatic Practitioner came from my Mother. My mom was a surgical nurse, then medical missionary. I remember that she would come home from a long hard day of helping others and ask me to "Please just rub my feet for five minutes." Touch then became understood to me as care.
With 30 years of experience including Licensed Cosmetologist, Certified Bodyworker, Certified Esthetician, two years of Naturopathic Medical school focusing on Lymphatics, B.S. Baccelor's in Biomedical Science from National University of Health Sciences, One semester towards Masters of Biomedical Science at Midwestern University, as well as earning Licensed Massage Therapist as a Nationally Board Certified Therapeutic Massage & Bodyworker BCTMB, has taught me much.
Obtaining my BS in Biomedical Sciences with an emphasis in Nutrition, as Valedictorian from the National University of Health Science in Lombard, Illinois taught me about gross anatomy, physiology, physics of movement, and Nutrition. I am a Lymphatic Practitioner.
I am one in about 70 Manual Deep Tissue Lymphatic Drainage Practitioners specializing in the Dr. Karyn Mitchell Method. I am an expert at the Dr. Vodder Method, and familiar with the Dr. Chickley Method of Lymphatic Drainage. I am a certified fitter for compression garments, trained in wound care, and an expert in bandaging limbs to drain at night.
My specialty work includes with those who have had lymphatic nodes removed or compromised, warrior cancer survivors, those looking to detox, muscles in spasm, sinusitis, rotator cuff, and more. I open up lymphatic ducts, clear lymphatic nodes, vessels, and interstitial fluid that appears as swollen joints and limbs, belly swell and swollen sinus.

Her positive attitude and conviction about her techniques. The OTs have been very negative about my daughter’s prognosis. This has made her depressed and unwilling to try different approaches and methods. But Sharon believes in her approach which has been so uplifting.
