I have undergone training in levels I and II through the Upledger Institute in Craniosacral Therapy. This modality is a great way to balance the nervous system and decrease pain; however, it can also be a great adjunct to other bodywork practices to enhance the experience and create an overall synergy.
I have been trained through Chikly Institute in levels I, II, III, IV, while taking the course to be certified as a lymphedema therapist. Lymph drainage is a great way to promote relaxation and improve fluid exchange and flow. This ultimately decreases edema and promotes improved ability for the body to release toxins through the proper channels, as well as promote improved healing potential. This is a great modality to utilize, especially before and/or after any kind of surgery.
I have progressed my education with Visceral Manipulation through Barral Institute; going through levels I, II, III, IV, V, VVMU, VVML, and VMAT. I am continuing to take and retake classes to have the most effective results in decreasing tension points and pain, creating a balance within the body as a whole.
