Angela Hershey, CMT is the Co-Founder of My Massage + Wellness geriatric massage. Angela is a certified massage therapist specializing in geriatric massage therapy and wellness. Angela grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Indianapolis in 2014.

As a young adult in her early 20's, Angela began to explore the abilities of the mind-body connection through yoga. What brought Angela to the classes was a desire to grow mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Angela was looking for an outlet to relieve stress and anxiety she was experiencing while grieving the loss of her mother to cancer and managing the complicated care of her younger disabled brother. Angela also found that the healing benefits of massage therapy allowed her to cope with physical and emotional pain she was experiencing. Little did she know then that she was on a journey that would completely change her life and the lives of those she would eventually touch. 

Angela Hershey, CMT graduated from Indiana Therapeutic Massage school in October of 2017 after completing a 600 hour program in various modalities of therapeutic massage. Angela has also been certified in Geriatric Massage from the Daybreak Geriatric Massage Institute and has worked with older adults and those with disabilities. Angela has experience providing gentle massage therapy for seniors, hospice, Parkinson’s Disease and other fragile conditions.
