Through stimulation-gentle pressure of the sen line, joint mobilization, deep diaphragmatic breathing the body is prepared to receive additional Thai Massage techniques that include manipulation of muscles and tendons through various stretches, twists, and traction- similar to what you might see in a yoga practice. Traditional Thai massage rarely uses oils or lotions and the recipient remains clothed during a treatment.

Techniques I use: Broad and targeted acupressure, stimulation and manipulation of energy lines called sen, joint mobilization, deep diaphragmatic breathing ,manipulation of muscles and tendons through various stretches, twists, and traction- similar to what you might see in a yoga practice. Muscle manipulation is also achieved through traditional Swedish massage techniques as well as vibration, tapotement (rap, drum or pat), muscle squeezing and neuromuscular techniques such as Post Isometric Relaxation (holding a very mild muscle contraction and releasing).
