Massage Livingston was easy to find and located in a beautiful building! Rachel's studio is staggeringly beautiful and serene! Her pressure is perfect for a bigger guy like myself. I was able to move my neck freely for the whole rest of the night. I have never been able to do that. At least not that i can remember. Thanks for the experience Rachel!!! It was a real treat and will definitely be back.

I am a massage “snob.” It’s so hard to find quality massage therapists anymore. I added the scalp massage in my session; the only suggestion to Rachel is to actually slide her fingers through longer hair as opposed to on the surface and alsomassage ears. The ears hold stress and it’s easy enough to add this. I highly recommend trying Massage Livingston!

I booked my husband a massage after he somehow hurt his back. After a week of pain and unable to move, I sent him to Rachel. He was familiar with traditional massage, but told me no way would this work. Well after an hour I received a phone call of how much better he felt. He walked better than he had in a long time. He sent me a message the next morning while at work saying he had ZERO back pain for the first time in a very long time. He raved about Rachel’s professionalism and ability to stretch him and get out the many knots which he lost count how many she worked out. He said he stopped counting after 8. He’s already asking to go back and keep going back. I think he’s officially converted to this type of massage!

I've been seeing Rachel for well over a year for massage, and I've always been very pleased with my services and results, but since she started offering Ashiatsu, and I've had a few of the 90-min sessions now, all I can say is this is the best massage I've had, hands (feet) down! The long, fluid strokes and the deep pressure I prefer are the perfect combination of what works best for me. The results last for weeks, and I feel phenomenal afterwards every single time. If I could do this every week, I would in a heartbeat! Do yourself a favor and give this modality a shot, you won't be disappointed.

If I could give Rachel 6 stars, I would. I left feeling better than I have in quite some time. The only thing that disappoints me is that the Ashiatsu experience has now ruined a standard Swedish massage for me!

I got in a car accident 20 years ago and have lived with pain everyday since. I received a FEATHER-LIGHT massage when I asked for deep-tissue. Lotion was cold. Didn't appreciate having to walk naked past the window facing Grand River, because the blinds were open.

As with all sessions I’m sure I checked in to be sure your pressure was to your liking, in the future I would recommend letting your therapist know if you would like more pressure when asked. The shades on the windows on the 2nd floor office space were open, but the curtains were drawn; blocking any view from the outside. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
