Massage therapy is a second career for me, having previously worked in Healthcare Management since the early 90's. While I loved doing administrative work, I grew to want to follow my passion for helping others heal in this busy world. My passion led me to relocate to a new city, going back to school at Blue Heron Academy and eventually to this career of hands-on work. I worked as a Massage Therapist for Hospice patients for the three years; incorporating Therapeutic Touch, Aromatherapy and Music into my sessions. I’ve also worked in Chiropractic, Salon and Corporate settings. I have experience working in the Steelcase Well Being Hub, working on employees with work related injuries and massage for injury prevention. I am a Certified Cupping Therapist. I feel my specialty is utilizing my various experience and skills to meet my clients right where they are at and adjusting my massage techniques and pressure to that very appointment. I have experience in the following massage modalities: Cupping, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Prenatal, Swedish, Geriatric and Reflexology. I also do mobile massage therapy, where I mostly treat medical cases (auto accident, special needs, disability injuries).

Brenda listened to me ! I have been a massage client for over 35 years when I explained to Brenda what was going on in my body she listened and gave me the massage I needed ! I have had two shoulder surgeries and a bulging disc in my neck that has caused all kinds of pain for the last three years previous treatments have done nothing for me .
