When I became a licensed Cosmetologists I realized that I wanted to offer more to a client. I wanted to create an experience that would fulfill more than one need. I turned to massage therapy because after talking to many clients, I realized just how much people deal with daily. From stress, to not enough sleep and even posture issues let me know that I need to help.
I decided to attend Texas Center for Massage Therapy in Houston, TX. It was then renamed Cortiva Institute. I was taught by some of the best instructors in massage therapy. I was able to learn many modalities such as swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, structural, acupressure, hydrotherapy, shiatsu and so much more.
After massage therapy, I went to Ogle School for Hair, Skin and Nails for the esthetics program. As I continued my journey of providing a great customer experience, I felt skincare would be a great addition to my practice. Also with knowledgeable instructors, they equipped me with the information to provide skincare services to include facials, waxing, makeup, body treatments and advanced techniques.
Being located in Houston, TX gives me the opportunity to reach so many people form all walks of life through this diverse city.
My ultimate goal in life is to help as many people I can through all the skills I have learned. I want to be a positive role model and respected member of my community and culture.
