After serving in the social service field for two years and comprehending the affects of stress on families and their environment , Lemar decided to extend his reach of social service by attending Virginia College's School of Massage Therapy. In 2005, Lemar decided to open Life Touch Massage which provides professional massage services at an affordable price. As the owner of Life Touch Massage, Lemar provided educational material to churches, schools and other organizations teaching the benefits of massage therapy. Additionally, Lemar donates chair massage services throughout the year to individuals and organizations such as, the YWCA, to promote positive, caring touch to those individuals who may have been neglected and abused. In 2006, Lemar was hired at the Renaissance Ross Bridge Resort and Spa in Hoover, Alabama. Two years later, Lemar was acknowledged for being the most requested massage therapist. In 2013, Lemar was recognized for his service with the Marriot's Spirit to Serve Award. Most presently, in February 2014, Lemar was published in B Metro Magazine as a Salon and Spa Superstar Massage Therapist for Renaissance Ross Bridge Resort and Spa. Also, in 2014, Lemar was nominated by Governor Bentley to serve on the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy. Lemar utilizes his massage therapy craft to serve the public through education, fund raising, and charity. Lemar believes that all life begins with touch and that through touch we are all connected.
