In modern times we have developed lifestyles of living on demand with excessive screen time, long work weeks, busy schedules and constant pressure to do more. Over time the level of stress becomes a burden we carry in our bodies causing anxiety, insomnia, headaches, migraines, neck and shoulder tension and chronic back pain.

Office Policies & Procedures:
Medical Practice Policy- A secured electronic intake form is sent to new clients via email to be completed prior to your treatment. Please check your junk folder if it does not appear in your inbox. A completed intake form is required to receive therapy.
Appointment Time - Your session begins at the time scheduled with a consultation. If you arrive late, the massage portion of your appointment will be shorted in order to conduct a proper pre-treatment consultation and accommodate other appointments following yours.
Client Privacy- The door to my office remains locked while I am in session to provide additional privacy and safety for my clients. I will unlock the door approximately 10-15 minutes prior to my next session for early arrivals.
Treatment Protocol - Client will remove necessary garments in privacy prior to treatment and will remain draped with a sheet for the entire session. Treatment begins with an assessment/ evaluation then massage techniques will be administered. Only the areas being treated are uncovered and at no time are private areas exposed or worked on. Once the treatment is completed therapist will leave the room to allow client to get dressed.
Health/ Liability - Treatment is not permitted while contagious with illness due to the possibility of therapy exacerbating illness and risk of exposure to myself and other clients. As a healthcare professional, I follow proper sanitation procedures to ensure every client is treated in a safe environment: Therapists hands, forearms, elbows and oil bottles are washed after each session with soap and water. All surfaces and door knobs of the treatment room and reception are cleaned with Citrus II hospital germicidal deodorizing cleaner. All linens used in treatment are laundered prior to re-use (sheets, face cradle covers, blankets, pillow cases and towels).
Please cancel your appointment if you experience any cold/ flu like symptoms until you are symptom free for a consecutive 72 hours without medication. Symptoms include: fever, cough, sneezing, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, thick yellow or green mucus, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea. To protect your therapist and other clients from COVID-19, treatment will not be permitted to clients whom have traveled outside of Ottawa or Allegan county until they have completed a standard self health observation period of 14 days and shown no symptoms of the virus.
Cancellation/ Rescheduling Policy - You will receive an e-mail reminder 48 hours prior and a text message 24 hours prior to your appointment.
In order to cancel/ reschedule your appointment with NO charge, I require a minimum of 24 hours notice. Cancellations/ rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice will incur a fee of 50% of your service fee. No call/ no-shows will incur a fee of 100% of your service fee or loss of one pre-paid session (package or gift certificate). These fees will be based on the full, non-discounted rate of the service scheduled.
