Massage oil or cream is used with smooth, gliding strokes. Therapeutic massage uses firm but gentle pressure to promote relaxation, ease muscle tension and create other health benefits. Table Thai Massage

Thai massage is like yoga, it focuses on stretching and deep breathing to produce a deeply relaxed state. The therapist uses their hands, feet, elbows and knees to move you into various stretches while massaging your muscles. No lotion is used and you, the client, wear comfortable, stretchable workout clothes. Think about it as a yoga class where you relax and the therapist does all of the work. You will leave feeling limber, peaceful and invigorated.

Bowen Therapy

Bowenwork is a gentle technique performed through clothing, designed to reset tension in muscle groups by using a unique type of stretch and roll-through movement. It is gentle enough for all ages from newborn to the elderly or those that are more sensitive to touch. Bowenwork does not feel the same as massage, yet it offers many of the same benefits as massage, pain relief, an increase in mobility, better sleep, and an overall feeling of wellbeing.

I began studying and practicing massage therapy at the Minneapolis School of Massage & Bodywork Inc in 1988. Personally, I like to emphasize the "therapy" aspect of massage and many of my clients begin to work with me on recommendation from their physical therapists or chiropractors. My treatments can be the final step in the healing process or just the ticket to keep them healthy and injury free. I enjoy working with baby boomers, like myself, who want to stay feeling young and active. I love working with dedicated athletes and weekend warriors alike to help them achieve their personal best. And I am experienced in working with illness, chronic health conditions or people recovering from cancer treatments. I believe massage therapy is good preventive health care as well as a rehabilitation tool from pain, illness and injury. When not working I enjoy going hiking through the woods with my husband, oil painting and being a source of love and encouragement to my three children who are becoming independent adults.

I used to love coming here. I don’t come in often but when I do I usually have a good experience. The last few visits have been sub-par. My last 90 minute massage was ended at the 60 minute mark. Also every time I come in my usual services are $10 more expensive than the previous visit. I’m over the price hikes and unsatisfactory visits. I won’t be back.
