Throughout his massage career, Johaun has learned that no two sessions are alike. Everyone has their own set of life experiences and a unique relationship to their body, which deeply affects their personal massage style preferences and needs. This understanding has enabled Johaun to utilize his training and extensive life experience to tailor each massage session to the needs of his clients. He loves blending styles and using the tools he knows to better fit the needs of his clients. From treatment-oriented bodywork including (but not limited to) trigger point therapy, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques (METs), active isolated stretching (AIS) to more of the soothing, relaxing Swedish massage with fluid three dimensional contact and even accessing a more energy-based multilayered Reiki and chakra balancing.

Very skilled and professional. I would absolutely recommend him. Thank you!

Johaun is the best! He's very experienced, very kind, very responsive to adjust for me. As a nonbinary/trans, larger bodied person, I put off finding a massage therapist, and I'm so grateful I found Be Balanced Bodywork and Johaun! I couldn't recommend him more highly; give him a call!

Very knowledgeable and personable. Felt very comfortable and would recommend to anyone who is looking for post surgical massages!
by Sasha on Oct 03
Loved how Johaun listened to what was going on with my body and focused on that, instead of the typical cookie cutter experience that define other massages I've had around town. Great pressure and technique. Can't wait to go back!

Johuan is a fantastic bodyworker. You can tell he is excellent at his craft and takes the time to hone in on your problem areas but also finds other areas that need attention. I felt so at ease the entire time and my body felt immensely better afterwards!

Good communication, relaxed and comfortable atmosphere
