Jess was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. As she grew up in the city, surrounded by friends and family, she always had a desire to help others. To start her educational journey, she began a program in early child education and human development, specializing in child life. Her hunger for knowledge then led her to the University Of Rochester School Of Nursing, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Time passed, and Jess became eager to travel and experience a new part of the country. She made the choice to move to Phoenix, Arizona. She quickly enrolled in the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, in Tempe, Arizona. She graduated from that program in 2014, earning her Master Massage Practitioner Diploma with a specialty in Myotherapy. She has found a passion for massage, and finds that giving a massage is as relaxing as receiving one! Currently, she has returned to SWIHA to continue her education and get her Medical Massage Practitioner specialization. In addition to her extensive nursing and massage therapy education, Jess is also a Reiki Master. Reiki is a Japanese technique used for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.

Although Jess happily helps a wide variety of clients from all walks of life, she has found a passion for helping the senior community. She is specialized in elder touch, lymphatic massage, and massage for cancer survivors. She finds great joy in her work, and is very much enjoying building new relationships with the residents at Freedom Plaza!
