Trying to recovering from a serious back injury & immeasurable pain, changes everything about you.  In my early 20's, I struggled with this for 5 years.  What do you do when a Massage Therapist and "alternative health providers" give you your life back?  Well what I did was toss away my first degree (bachelor's in Occupational Therapy) and jumped aboard the "wellness wagon" too, :0).  So here I am, practicing as a Licensed Massage Therapist, striving to empower hundreds of others to live life...

So here I am, practicing as a Licensed Massage Therapist, striving to empower hundreds of others to live life without pain and to restore  balance in their minds and bodies.  My life is so much better because I receive massage therapy routinely, I know others lives will be better when they receive it, too.  What a gift.

As a therapist, I understand the need to not just use our hands, but also to use our hearts and ears as constant assessment tools.   The more I understand about you, the more intention I can give to each & every massage stroke I make.   I firmly believe that when people feel better, when the stress, muscle tension, or pain is truly gone, they do so much better for those around them and that's what I bring to the table.  This is my ultimate goal for my community, to have the unique benefits each client experiences, spill over into their work, home, and community relationships. It's never all about one person. How we feel affects everyone in our lives.

Specialty Populations I also work with:
-Seniors and Home Bound Elders
-Those living with ALS
-Athletic Teens and Tweens
-Employees in their workplace

There were several times this year that appointments were changed at the last minute, but other than that...... I look forward to my massages.

Michelle has done an excellent job with alleviating my lower back and hip pain. I can now do some poses, including sitting cross legged in yoga class that I was unable to do before. Her massage studio is tranquil and eases the mind and the body! I would highly recommend her 1 - 1.5 hours massage as there are no kinks left at the end of the session! My body actually feels like it is breathing and flowing again.

I have been Michele's client for over seven years. Her work, from our first session, was truly remarkable. Michele is an extraordinarily engaged, curious person, and she is constantly learning new techniques, so sessions continue to evolve in a beautifully organic fashion. I am amazed after massage to feel more restored––physically, emotionally, and psychologically––than after vacation. Michele also brings to her work a thorough knowledge of human anatomy and musculature from her years of experience as an occupational therapist. She is a rare gem, combining her great technique and knowledge with a lively spirit, warmth, and empathy. I have recommended many people to Michele over the years, and they have, without exception, been delighted with her work." -Mr. G., Orchestral conductor/pianis
