I have always enjoyed mysteries, puzzles, physical activity and learning about the human body. How does that relate to my massage therapy practice? I get to do what I enjoy every day when someone enters my office with a physical pain or limitation. Through asking detailed questions about their daily activities and what they are experiencing physically, I begin to piece together the puzzle of what may be contributing to their pain and come up with a plan of action to address those issues. I wasn't looking for a "miracle" but I got one! I have had shoulder pain for ten days and when my visit with Angie was finished it was gone. I knew if I went to a traditional physician I would have x-rays and an MRI; I would be prescribed medication and would ultimately get little or no relief. Angie used gentle techniques to identify the problem and fixed it! Then she went on to relieve some other areas of tightness, knots and pressure points. I told her when I left, "You are my hero!"
