I received my license for therapeutic massage and bodywork in 1999, and began working with a chiropractor in Madison, WI. My passion for bodywork became very clear to me as I took my first JFB myofascial continuing education course in 2000. I received my license for therapeutic massage and bodywork in 1999, and began working with a chiropractor in Madison, WI. My passion for bodywork became very clear to me as I took my first JFB myofascial continuing education course in 2000. That same year I had been in three car accidents and the injuries my body sustained almost had me second guess if I could continue working as a massage therapist/bodyworker. I left that first four day weekend of myofascial release with 90% increased range of motion in my right shoulder and neck. My husband could immediately see the changes and supported me to do more classes and therapy from the experts at the treatment center in Sedona, AZ. I felt as if I had my life back and I knew I could never look back. I progressed with a deeper compassion and awareness of the bodies potential to heal and thrive. This new perspective shifted my business goals to accept an offer to work with the UW health system. The integrative medicine unit was branching out their goals to provide patients with the best wellness/care options available. I was invited to participate in this and it opened my horizons to many opportunities to see the effects of myofascial release on many different case histories. My personal business was growing rapidly in Madison, WI, but our family goal was to move to the beautiful state of Colorado and we took the leap in 2012. We are advid hikers and knew living in Colorado would be melding the best of both worlds, business and pleasure. We have no regrets in this new chapter that we are exploring, and we have found the town of Ft. Collins to be just what we were looking for.

Dr. Tara found me on the myofascial release website and was looking to share her growing practice with me. We have found a great melding of bodywork and functional medicine as that support has increased people's wellness and awareness. I am so grateful to be in a setting that helps me achieve the goals I want in order to continue growing here in Colorado.
