Prior to Coast Guard boot camp I suffered a broken clavicle and separated AC joint after a mountain biking accident. Which, left me with pretty consistent headaches and tension in my neck, shoulder, and upper back. The only relief I could get came from a pill. While I was stationed in Alaska, I was sent to Texas to attend the Air Force Pharmacy school in order to further understand pharmaceuticals and run the clinic pharmacy. After I completed my active duty service, I pursued a PharmD. While working in a pharmacy, I noticed that a large percentage of the people I helped were simply looking for pain management or some sort of stress reduction, similar to myself. After my first daughter was born, I became a stay-at-home-dad and began to seek alternative means of controlling pain and managing stress apart from prescription pills. I discovered my interest and skill in the oldest form of pain relief and stress reduction, massage. I personally understand back and neck tension and know that massage can have a positive affect along with the many other benefits. I've studied Swedish massage technique over the last couple of years. I graduated from the Texas School of Massage and was hired by the school before i finished my internship. I am available, by appointment, for sessions at the school as well as my room at The Reserve at Autumn Creek in Friendswood, TX.
