Never underestimate the "Power" of touch.

I became a massage therapist after going on a trip with some friends and receiving a massage at a spa. I have scoliosis and my back is often sore. I couldn't believe how much better my back felt after my massage. When I got home I started researching massage schools in my area, and started that very next semester. I became a massage therapist after going on a trip with some friends and receiving a massage at a spa. I have scoliosis and my back is often sore. I couldn't believe how much better my back felt after my massage. When I got home I started researching massage schools in my area, and started that very next semester. I have been a massage therapist for fourteen years now, and greatful I have the opportunity to help people through massage. I have worked in different settings throughout my career; first in a spa for eleven years, a private office with two other therapist, and now in a chiropractor office. I specialize in Deep Tissue, Oncology, and Swedish massage. I'm also trained in Pregnancy and Hot Stone massage. I enjoy what I do and look forward to continuing to helping people though massage.

Hot Stone Massage

Received training in October of 2005. It is a great massage for relaxing and at the spa I worked at for many years it was a very popular service. I found that using the hot stones to warm the muscle tissue during a Deep tissue massage was very helpful.

Oncology massage

When I went through my massage training giving a massage to an individual with cancer was contraindicated, and for many years I refused massage to those individuals in the fear of causing more harm than good. It wasn't until I was diagnosed with cancer that I learned otherwise. It was then I made it my mission to be trained in Oncology massage. I received my training June of 2010. I currently offer Oncology massage where I work and volunteer monthly at a local agency that helps individuals with cancer, where I provide free massage.

Effective Treatment for Sciatica

Received training in July of 2014. I have several clients that have sciatic and low back pain. I wanted to expand my knowledge and skills on how to help my clients with these issues. My clients feel more relief and longer effects of their massage with the new knowledge I gained.
