I opted for the deep tissue massage and it was indeed deep. Autumn was good about asking me if the pressure was okay, and mostly it was. I only had to tell her to lighten up a few times, and that was because of anomalies in my body rather than anything she as a practitioner could have known. I was worried initially that I'd hear traffic noise from the nearby coast highway, but the studio is tucked away, in the back of what is essentially a strip mall but doesn't have that feeling. I liked the calming music she played, and her touch was sure and professional. I left feeling lighter and more relaxed. I can't recommend Autumn highly enough!

Overall - I have been waiting weeks to finally get in. My shoulders were tense and tight. My back was outta whack. Now my shoulders are down away from my ears, I am relaxed and my muscles are looser and my spine is straighter. You walk into a calming sound of flowing water, the room is soothing colors and inviting. Autumn is welcoming and interested in hearing about what is going on with your body. Where she need to concentrate and where she might need to avoid. Then she allows you plenty of time to prepare yourself to get comfortable.

Amazing massage! My wife and I have been making an annual trip to fort bragg for 11 years now, this was our 4 trip to Bamboo Garden & Spa! It's a great way to relax and really seems to kick start our vacation! Definitely recommend this place, thanks again Jess!

Went for a couples massage. Not my first time getting a massage, but the boyfriends first time, and let me just say we felt so amazing after our massages, it was almost impossible to gather ourselves after, we couldn't stop laughing at how great we felt, and how difficult it was to dress ourselves because we were so relaxed. Definately a must for when we are in the area and want to treat ourselves. We also had made an appointment for the previous week, but due to personal issues, we couldn't make it and only gave about a two hours notice. They happily rescheduled our appointment for the following week at no penalty and were very kind about it.

Autumn was very friendly! It was my first massage and I was worried about it being awkward (because I am an awkward person), but it was very fun. She is very experienced and well traveled so she can talk about a variety of subjects. Or if you're the silent type, she doesn't mind that either. I have lower back issues and I mentioned that during the massage and she really helped with the soreness I felt there. The room was relaxing and quiet and had some soothing music playing. Loved the whole thing! Thanks y'all!
