If I would remember to do his massage everyday, he would not keep me up at night. Shortly after learning how to perform infant massage I decided to go to school to learn more about massage. I attended Michigan School of Myomassology in Berkley, Michigan. I learned modalities of massage such as Swedish massage, Hellerwork, Cranial-Sacral Therapy and Clinical Approaches to Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Low Back Pain. In 2006, I began teaching massage therapy at the National Institute of Technology in Dearborn, Michigan. I am a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and became licensed to practice massage in Alabama in 2012. I specialize in deep tissue massage, Hellerwork, trigger point therapy and other therapeutic techniques to improve mobility and alleviate pain. I have worked with professional athletes and nonprofessional athletes as well as populations from children to seniors. I practice massage at Studio 220 located at 220 W. Tennessee Street Suite 204 Florence, Alabama. My interests include reading, learning new things, meditation, and yoga classes. Also, I am have completed a master's degree in counseling at the University of North Alabama. Additionally, in August 2018 I began teaching anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology as one of the instructors of the University of North Alabama's Massage and Neuromuscular Program.
