Jesse’s journey with bodywork began on February 8, 2003 when he received his 2nd degree in Reiki at age 13. Over the course of a decade, from age 6 to 16, he had a high amount of exposure to Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Kinesiology and various forms of Chinese/Eastern medicines. In his senior year in high school, Jesse received his first professional massage and knew instantly what his career choice should be. Unfortunately, in January 2009, halfway through massage school, Jesse broke his back. I highly recommend Back to Healing and plan to return to see Jesse soon! Jesse conducted a thorough pre-massage interview and I felt he listened to my input. Very professional!! I have tough trigger points, and muscle injuries and opted for instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, Gua Sha, and deep tissue massage work. I left feeling ultra relaxed and got the best night’s sleep as a result! My trigger points and other soft tissues felt way more mobile after the massage and still do a few days later. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Jesse made me feel so welcomed and comfortable for my first ever massage experience. The room was extremely relaxing, and the music helped break some of the awkwardness I was feeling in the beginning. Jesse is very clear about consent, and handled the massaged professionally. He was also very respectful about COVID-19 protocols, especially if you voice this concern to him. I will definitely be back, and I recommend him to anyone hesitant about trying massage.
The location can be a little confusing but it is located in the red building (that google brings you to) and is on the second floor (the staircase is located up the ramp, and is on the left).

I am a doctor of physical therapy student and have experienced a number of sports related injuries over the years that I have neglected. Due to my long hours on the computer, my neck pain has increased and made it difficult to focus. Being that I am studying the musculoskeletal system I have high standards for a massage therapist and Jesse is great! He is so knowledgable and my neck and body hasn't felt better. I also prefer a deep tissue or more intense sports massage and Jesse definitely delivers! I couldn't recommend him more. :)

I was in such pain this therapy was my only hope. I tried doctors, all kinds of pain killers and anti inflammatory medicines to no avail. To my surprise, on my first one hour session I felt better almost immediately. I couldn’t for a week to get another treatment session and scheduled a follow up two days letter. I am so grateful and blessed. Thank you.
PS. My only regret is I did not book a longer session. We have to fix that.

Not any fault of yours, but the traffic noise made it hard to relax. It helped some when you turned the music up. Next time I'd like to try music which is more smooth, such as strings, or more nature related, as well as more cohesive from song to song.
I prefer the increase and decrease of pressure, as well as the stretching and working on my shoulders and issues surrounding the rotator muscles.

I always know I'm going to great a great massage and great service from Jesse. He apologized for the outside noise which I realize is out of his control. Maybe put an AC unit in the room so the window can be shut? Otherwise, awesome experience as always.
