I have been a licensed massage therapist in the state of Alaska since 2016, and have studied and practiced energy medicine since 2010. I became interested in massage therapy when I became aware of stuck energy or "chi" in the bodies of myself and my loved ones who I worked with. I went looking for new techniques and information about the physical human body and how to apply therapeutic touch to those physical structures. After finding the beauty that bodywork brought my own life and becoming more familiar with the magic of human touch for all beings, I decided to enroll in massage school so that I could be licensed in touch. I learned techniques in deep tissue, Swedish massage therapy, myofascial release, and craniosacral therapy.
My goal as a therapist is to both educate and encourage my clients to learn how to heal themselves by tapping into their own innate healing abilities empowering them to live better and healthier lives. My approach is a combination of both eastern and western methods and usually includes some myofascial please and energy balancing with bodywork.
