I've been practicing massage since 2006. I also gained a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology from Indiana University before I attended Associates of Integrative Health for my massage certificate. Hi, I'm Angie! I've been a practicing licensed massage therapist (LMT) since 2010, first in Kentucky and now in Indiana, having trained at the Louisville School of Massage. I am also a licensed social worker (LSW) as of 2018 with plans of becoming a behavioral health therapist, and currently reside in the lovely, wonderful college town of Bloomington, IN. Kristen did an amazing job! The massage very was not only relaxing (which all massages should be), but her knowledge and experience in addressing my sciatica issues were spot on! I have been dealing with sciatica for 10 months. I have had three weeks of chiropractic, physical therapy for 6 weeks, steroid shot in my back after the MRI showed a bulging disk, and am still struggling with the pain. I am writing this review the morning after my massage and I fully expected to still be dealing with at least some sciatic symptoms. Well, although I am a little sore to the touch in a few locations (which is expected) my sciatica nerve really feels like it has settled down. I know it is not a one and done deal. So I have already booked another appointment. I know you can heal a bulging disk, but exercise only aggravated my nerve. I am feeling confident I am not my way to healing! The location is humble and unpretentious, but was very clean, and comfortable. I’ve experienced some very luxurious spa locations, and have had just ok massages. I would take Blue Lotus over any place I have been. I must also add the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Kristen and the healing touch that she provides!

Great massage that was overdue. Spent a majority of the time working on a specific sore muscle group but still incorporated the other areas. Would recommend to anyone and need to schedule another one sooner than I have in the past.
