After 10 years of massaging and 2 years of massage instruction in Philadelphia, Stephanie Pia, LMBT has brought her skills back home to Durham, North Carolina. Stephanie's personal style consists of an integrative mixture of deep tissue, trigger point therapy and myofascial techniques that is client-focused and results driven. She is passionate about providing trans-affirming and trauma-informed care to her clients and being a facilitator in their journey towards embodiment and healing.

Stephanie is amazing! She holds the perfect balance between listening to you and your needs and bringing in her experience and observations of your body to educate you. She literally reset my body - I find I am holding my shoulders differently and able to breathe easier. She was able to identify that my chronic knee pain is connected to tension in my hips; in one session, she used strong pressure and deep tissue techniques to work through tension there and in my shoulders. Easy to find in Center City with a really relaxing reception space. Grab some tea or water as you await the session! It's a little clunky that the bathroom is outside of the massage studio space itself and the elevator is quirky, but that is not a deal breaker.
