Hello! My name is Alexandra Moran. My studies of Massage Therapy began in 2011,  I had left my program of study for history after reading many texts about Japanese warriors and field medicine. I found the idea that one could get to the root of a problem quickly and efficiently through the use of traditional medicine fascinating. Though I do know that some illnesses require a more in depth medicine, many early onset injuries may be able to be set in a quick recovery direction with the administration of different kinds of massage.

I studied for two years (2500 hrs)in NYC at the New York College Of Health Professions under many experienced teachers. Some of the modalities that I specialized in were Sports Massage, Active Isolated Stretching, Thai Massage, Deep Tissue, Swedish Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Prenatal Massage, Aromatherapy, Medical Massage, Tui-Na, and acupressure.

I continued my studies into Oriental medicine and Acupuncture but had only completed one year of study before I had to relocate to the mountains for some serious reflection. Whether I will finish my herbal and acupuncture education is still up in the air, but I utilize all I have learned with those modalities through my bodywork practices as well.

Living here in Teton Valley has brought me much peace there is nothing that has ever felt more right for me than letting it all go and getting out into nature to refocus.
As I am sure that is a reason many of you enjoy this wonderful place, along with playing in the mountains can come some serious aches and pains!

I would love to customize a treatment plan just for you, specific to your needs, and even if it is just to relax after a long week I will be sure to accommodate.

I hope this bio has you learning a bit about me. I would love to assist you in getting to that relaxed feeling, or working on a pain that just won't budge.

Well wishes friends
hoping to see you all soon!
