Knows how to calm you down and read your body very well. She seems to know exactly what you need or what will help. Very professional and modest with you. Very put off by the location and appearance of the building. I thought you were part of that Bible church that you share a building with and almost didn't come in because I didn't want to be preached at. None of the friendly, welcoming ambiance that most places have -- no warm welcome, no music, no candles, nothing to help me relax, not even magazines to read in the waiting room. Once in the room, the table was very hard. I was told to lie down on my back, and when I said that was very painful -- impossible really -- the therapist didn't have pillows or a face rest readily available, though she did find one. It seemed like my fault that I couldn't do as she told me. I wanted to leave right then.

It is a shabby little building away from everything else in town. Not particularly sound-proof so new clients coming in or out to work with other practitioners are heard pretty loud and clear. Don't know if anything can be done about that.

The staff were all very welcoming. The room was warm with relaxing background music a warm bed, and low lighting. Very relaxing just walking into the room. Highly recommend to try them out.
They also serve the people of Fairhaven , bringing in a portable bed. My late Mom had massages in her room about once a month. There is a fee of course, but it sure makes it nice for those like my mom to have had a very needed massage without leaving Fairhaven.
