I am Kristin Cook, licensed massage therapist since 2010. I'm a 100% mobile massage therapist, specializing in Swedish, Sports, and Neuromuscular work, integrated specifically for each of my clients to provide the best possible relief from injury, stress, and chronic issues. I'm also certified in Prenatal work, and love getting to work with moms-to-be with their pregnancy pain and relaxation management .

My formal massage training took place at ASHA School of Massage in Norcross, Georgia (no longer in operation). At ASHA, I received 900 extensive hours of training in Swedish, Sports, and Neuromuscular Therapy modalities, as well as extensive knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, ethics, and health safety precautions. I gravated most towards Sports and NMT during my training, and in the years I have been in practice, found that clients I enjoy working on the most are athletes, those with chronic pain issues (particularly migraines and sciatica), and pregnant women.

Well before I entertained the notion of massage as a career path, my friends and family knew me as the girl to go to for a decent shoulder or back rub. In fact, when I first mentioned my desire to attend massage therapy school to the very friend who took me for my first ever massage, she brightened instantaneously and stated, "Oh, you'd be great at that!". When I started school, it quickly became apparently to me that massage was one of the answers I'd always been seeking for my own chronic headaches and TMJ discomfort; I have never looked back since!

I honestly believe in the value of regular massage as a way of increasing one's overall health and well-being. I have witnessed first hand the progress my regular clients have made overcoming sports injuries, as well a substantial decrease in chronic pain-pattern symptoms. In my time as a prenatal therapist, I've proudly helped dozens of women reduce their pregnancy-related stress and pain, contributing to happier, healthier pregnancies for both mother and child.
