Meet Lynne Jordan: Massage Therapist
Lynne Jordan: Massage Therapist, Yoga Instructor, Certified Thai Massage Trainer, Pilates Trainer and an Approved Provider of continued education by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork
Lynne’s passion for massage therapy and muscle function began at a young age, growing up with a Father and Grandfather, who both practiced Chiropractic care and an Aunt, who was a massage therapist.
Lynne completed her education at the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado in Denver in 1999 focusing on anatomy and physiology.
Upon graduation, Lynne began working at a medical massage clinic, providing massage treatment for accident and injury-related incidents. This experience furthered her education in orthopedic sports massage, functional medicine and the art of healing through medical massage treatment.
Following this work, Lynne began running a small practice while practicing massage therapy at the University of Colorado in the Center for Integrative Medicines
For five years, she performed research with doctors on tension migraines, headaches, and worked with Susan B. Komen foundation grant recipients.
Additionally, Lynne was able to utilize these learned techniques and modalities to develop protocols for teaching new therapists in the field of medical massage therapy.
To support her clients more fully, Lynne has continued her education in the fields of anatomy and medical massage through her pursuits as an educator and instructor in the field of bodywork and continued research and education.
Lynne is an Approved Provider of Continued Education by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.
Lynne supports her clients through personalized treatment and assessments to individualize the massage experience, teaching the benefits of daily living habits for long-term health and healing.
Lynne classifies herself as a healer, having seen a lot of conditions medically, which helped her to become an efficient massage therapist who is dedicated to figuring out her clients' needs and finding the right technique and resources.
In her spare time, Lynne enjoys traveling, visiting the beach, performing as an actress in theater, Pilates, and any outdoor activities including camping, hiking, and biking.
Most recently, Lynne is working on specific Pilates apparatus training for instruction.
