Bodywork Services

Polychromatic Light Therapy

Treatment with the light system is simple and painless. Flexible pads, containing multiple infrared and visible blue and red diodes, are placed directly on the skin over the area of pain or injury. Light energy from the diodes penetrates beneath the skin and is absorbed by proteins within cells that lay beneath the skin. Those cells release nitric oxide, the body’s natural vasodilator.

Dry Cupping Massage

Cupping is a technique where a vacuum is created in a cup made of rubber, plastic, or glass, drawing the skin up into the cup and separating the layers of superficial fascia. Dry cupping does not break the skin or involve the use of flames (fire cupping.) Clients get cupping for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Rapid NeuroFascial Reset/Swedish Massage Combo

Rapid NeuroFascial Reset is a soft tissue, movement-based therapeutic technique that addresses the central nervous system’s role in alleviating pain, tension, and restrictions within muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Rapid sessions may be uncomfortable, or even painful, during the movement phase of the treatment. This occurs as the neurological system is being stimulated to restore normal function.

I’m so excited to be back in beautiful Denare Beach as a Registered Massage Therapist. There’s nowhere I’d rather be! I temporarily relocated to Saskatoon in the fall of 2017 where I began taking Registered Massage Therapy, and I recently graduated from the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy. It was an incredible learning experience, and I feel very qualified to help you achieve your health and wellness goals.

I’ve always been interested in the helping and healing professions; I taught adult education and high school courses for several years, I co-owned local businesses, and I became a second level Reiki practitioner since moving to the Denare Beach area in 1993.

I am committed to providing Denare Beach and area residents with the best possible care, and I am in constant pursuit of new learning. I hope that you will take the time to read about the treatment options I offer at Evolution Therapies, and that I will have the privilege of being your therapist.
