Alfred’s Therapy offers two main modes of therapy to be of help to its patients/clients:

Swedish Massage: Mainly used as a means of prevention. Also works to relax the body. When possible or requested by the patient, stretches can be included in Swedish massages that will further improve the mobility of joints.

Medical Massage: This is a combination of different techniques directed to relieve suffering from one or multiple diagnoses. This massage combines very well with therapeutic exercises, which are produced strictly on the individual case of the patient and their issue.

Zone 1 - The distance up to 15 miles from zip 60561 has no fee.
Zone 2 - The distance between 15 - 25 miles has a $10 extra charge.

Medical Massage (Out-Call Services)

Medical Massage is result oriented and the treatment is specifically directed to resolve conditions that have been diagnosed and prescribed by a Physician. The therapist may use a variety of modalities or procedures during the treatment but will focus the Medical Massage treatment only on the areas of the body related to the diagnosis and prescription.

The movements used in Swedish massage are similar to the way the body circulates blood. Because of this, Swedish massage can promote healthy circulation, increase blood flow, and help the body remove metabolic waste more quickly and effectively. Better circulation not only helps you feel better but improves overall health since increased circulation and blood flow means other organs can work more effectively.
