I have been fascinated with the human body and its limitations and possibilities since I was a young athlete, but when I began to learn about the effects of nutrition and lifestyle on its performance, that fascination very naturally turned into a career, as I found myself trying to help anyone and everyone that would entertain my strategizing. I have had the honor of working with individuals and groups, on their personal health strategies.
Holistic wellness has been a driving force and passion of mine for over 15 years now. I started living a more holistic lifestyle when I became pregnant with my first child. It seemed odd that, at such a young age, I was feeling so lethargic. I began to research nutrition and natural health, evaluated my eating, and realized that I was not putting in the right fuel to get the type of energy and well-being I desired. Over the course of the next decade and a half, I immersed myself in various and diverse nutritional theories, natural remedies and supplements, causes and cures for dis-ease, natural athletic performance enhancement & support—basically anything I came across in the form of reports, studies, podcasts, books, videos and lectures. I took that desire to learn further and got several certifications along the way, including: Certified Nutritional Counselor, Registered Yoga Teacher, Licensed Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer.
