Medical massage incorporates many techniques to address muscle and skeletal issues diagnosed by a doctor. I will give you the paperwork necessary for reimbursement by insurance, but I cannot directly take payment from your insurance company.

60 Minutes of Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release uses specific techniques to stretch and repair the connective issue between your muscles (fascia). Fascia has a tensile strength of about 750 pounds per square inch, so if it is contracted it can drastically affect your functional movement and contribute to pain. My approach follows the John Barnes school of MFR and is gentle and effective, and has very few contraindications (meaning it's appropriate and helpful for clients with a variety of underlying conditions.)

Sports massage uses a variety of massage techniques designed to help your body feel freer and stronger. It is particularly great for those with active lifestyles. It is great of pre-event or post-event, and we can also find ways to strategically assist with functional movement for your chosen activity as well as reduce pain and "wear and tear."

This is perfect for anyone who doesn't have any specific symptoms to work on, but does want to set aside time for meditation, relaxation, and stress relief. Other modalities and symptom relief can be requested within this session as well, but the primary goal is to relieve stress and bring about a deep state of relaxation and feelings of peacefulness.
