Vega Therapy Services Inc. is a holistic health and wellness therapy practice that utilizes somatic manual therapy, nutrition, herbal medicine, light therapy, and movement education to alleviate pain, restore movement and foster self growth. Vega Therapy Services Inc. promotes a lifestyle aimed at balancing the body, mind and spirit.

Adult | First-Time Appointment - Somatic Manual Therapy - Acute/Chronic

First time appointments are 75 minutes in length. This allows adequate time for a thorough health screening. Including intake, observation and assessment, hands-on work, movement training, and note taking. Somatic Therapy sessions utilize a variety of manual therapy techniques to reduce or alleviate chronic or acute pain, improve or restore joint mobility and release previously held dysfunctions.

Wellness Check-up - Somatic Manual Therapy

Wellness Check-up appointments are 25 minutes in length. Check-ups are thorough hands-on appointments focusing on the key areas of the body that limit posture and joint mobility. These are preventative care appointments focused on the alleviation of minor dysfunctions and the maintenance of optimal health. These sessions are not appropriate for significant somatic dysfunctions, acute trauma, or chronic conditions.

Private Movement Coaching - 60 Minutes

1 on 1 Private Movement coaching sessions are custom for each individual but, in general, focus on improving range of motion, strength, flexibility, endurance, and mobility. Movement coaching is suitable for rehabilitation from injury or optimization of movement efficiency. Movement coaching sessions are considered an adjunct to Somatic Manual Therapy and do not replace the benefits of hands-on care. Private lessons in Tai Chi, Qigong, and Kung fu are also available.

Jose Vega B.AS is a Somatic Manual Therapist, Certified Zero Balancer, and Traditional Chinese Martial Arts instructor. Jose currently holds a Bachelors of Applied Science in Manual Therapy and holds two associates degrees. One associates degree in Health Wellness and Fitness Education and the other in Therapeutic Massage.
Jose regularly attends post-graduate advanced manual therapy classes. These classes are taken at Kinections Inc. Treatment Center and Educational Institute in Sacramento, CA, and Bay Grass Institute in Baltimore, MD.
Jose is currently completing further academic education to obtain a Masters in Integrative Health and Nutrition at the Maryland University for Integrative Health. Jose intends to become a licensed nutritionist to better help his clients achieve their health goals in conjunction with Somatic Manual Therapy and Movement Education.
With a strong curiosity for the natural world and our relation to it. Jose believes that medicine should be accessible to all and that the most accessible medicines grow all around us. Jose has self-studied herbal medicine for the past 12 years in pursuit of health and freedom from disease.
