As a Licensed Massage Therapist, doTERRA Wellness Advocate and constant student of wellness and prevention, I am here to help you achieve harmony within your body. As a student of life, I am aware that healing of the mind and spirit must also take place in order to be fully balanced as human beings. My mission is to help you find balance between the mind, body and spirit.
I am inspired by my deep connection to the living world, to all things that rely on earth, air and water for life. One component (as well as benefit!) of my practice is that I am fortunate to know my clients as individuals with unique lives. Some people view bodywork as a luxury that can only be indulged upon once a year, while others have bodywork once or twice a month and see it as a necessary part of your overall health care program. Still others come to me only when in sever discomfort or pain and need help relaxing over-stressed areas. Understanding my clients different needs helps me customize treatments specifically to the individuals needs.
Whatever your reason for scheduling a massage, the one common denominator you all have - the one guarantee you will get from a good massage, no matter which description fits you - is that you will feel better. So whether it's skeletal realignment from sleeping on an airplane for six hours or an "issue with your tissue," you will leave my office feeling better that when you arrived.
Is Massage and bodywork necessary to wellness? That depends on your definition of wellness. The human body has proven quite resilient and can heal itself in remarkable ways with proper diet, hydration, exercise and incorporating essential oils. Massage Therapy and Bodywork are transformative and helps drive the body further by improving circulation and relaxing areas that are tense and unyielding, which aids recovery.
We each have a different lifestyle that requires attention to the nuances of stress and injury. My experience has shown me that true health, wellness and happiness does not come from one school of thought. I believe in an integrated approach that extends to several modalities of Massage Therapy, Bodywork and the use of doTERRA Essentail Oils. I remain always a student of my discipline, frequently taking classes to hone my techniques, giving classes to share my knowledge and understanding the evolving needs of clients who live in a fast-paced world.
