I have lived in Crab Orchard for 15 years, and became a licensed massage therapist after graduating from Lexington Healing Arts Academy in 2016. Since then I have attended continuing education classes and am dedicated to learning and gaining more experience. Massage has been a dream of mine since she I was little and it was rare when I couldn't be seen working on someone. I love using muscular therapies paired with cranial sacral treatment to improve the health of my clients, reducing there pain and improving everyday life. Lately though I have found an interest in Lymphatic massage after my Father was diagnosed with cancer about a year ago and I am hoping to start that journey soon.

Massage Therapy Program
Cranial Sacral massage works with the cranial rhythm of the body, which is directly connected to the central nervous system. If a person goes through something like an accident, the bones in the head and pelvis can be thrown out of alignment, causing muscles and organs to settle into a twist that then affects the spine and can throw off one's cranial rhythm. Being out of balance in this way can cause anxiety and depression, fatigue, digestive and respiratory problems, and even more issues that can affect day to day life. Cranial Sacral therapy utilizes light pressure on the head, chest, abdomen, knees, and feet, allows the body to re-align itself, and can alleviate the symptoms of the conditions mentioned above.
Deep Tissue Massage, in where the therapist will release the top layer of muscle tissue and then proceed to apply pressure to the deeper layers of tissue. Tension in these deeper layers often results in chronic pain. If a client has been dealing with aches and pains over a long period of time, our therapists will often recommend deep tissue massage to get to the root of the pain and relieve it.
This technique utilizes light pressure over the muscles of the body to relieve tension in the muscles. This type of therapy can also help with stress reduction.
Or connective tissue massage, goes beneath the surface and deep layers of muscle to relieve tension in the sheath of tissue that surrounds muscles and organs. Connective tissue tension can often be the root cause of chronic pain, stiffness, and cramping in the muscles.
