About the Office:
We provide a relaxing, stress-free, yet professional environment. We use any combination of Swedish, deep tissue, and trigger point massage that gives you the relief you need as well as exercise instruction if you are interested. Our hands can locate the tightness/tension in soft tissue.

Our practice focuses:

* Treatment of orthopaedic conditions, especially those due to athletic activity and desk/office work.

* Relaxation and wellness massage. I am certified in orthopaedic massage and have extensive training in neuromuscular “trigger point” technique, myofascial release, sports massage, massage ethics and professionalism, and craniosacral work, as well as a strong foundation in Swedish and deep-tissue massage.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial release is a soft tissue therapy for the treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain. The method engages the myofascial tissue and loads it with constant force until release occurs.To achieve this, practitioners can use knuckles, elbows, or other tools to slowly stretch the restricted fascia. The practitioner moves slowly through the layers of the fascia until the deep tissues are reached.

Allow me to share with you why I am passionate about Massage Therapy and a little history about my company. As a child I was born with the umbilical cord wrapped 3 times around my neck causing asphyxiation- (lack of oxygen going to my brain.) I could not move and the doctors told my mom I would be in a wheelchair for life.

My mother did not give up and tried to find ways to help me be fully functional. She was told if she gives me massages, my brain cells will take on the function of motor cells that died off. She sold her jewelry and hired a massage therapist to train her. She gave me a massage every single day. Within 14 months I was walking on my own. This is why I am so passionate about what I do.
