Erin Bailey is a South Carolina native and fell in love with movement at an early age. After obtaining a BFA in Dance from Columbia College in 2007, she pursued her certification and licensure in massage at the Southeastern School of Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy. After many years of dancing, teaching, and massaging professionally, Erin received her MFA in Dance from Texas Woman’s University where her graduated study revolved around movement as a healing practice. Her love of massage and dance have been merging ever since, which led her into the field of Somatic Movement Therapy. In January 2016, Erin graduated from Integrated Movement Studies as a Certified Laban Movement Analyst and Registered Somatic Movement Therapist/Educator. Her passion is to help people move more efficiently with ease and joy, integrating both function and expression for dancers and non-dancers alike.
