My name is Laurel Sage, I am a 39 year old female with two loving, energetic, little boys. I’ve been in the military for 16 years and currently I'm in the IRR (Inactive Readiness Reserve). I've served 2 deployments as a MEDEVAC Pilot and also have a Bachelors in Special Education.
So what does a Special Ed teacher/Blackhawk Pilot do after returning from a deployment and wanting to spend more time with her family? I prayed a lot and kept coming up with the same answer, Massage Therapy school. I attended the full time program at HACC in Harrisburg, Pa and graduated in May of 2013.
Moving to Virginia right after graduation, I have spent my entire career in the Richmond area accumulating over 1500 hours of massage experience Thus far. Currently work alongside two amazing chiropractors, therapeutic massage has become my favorite modality. I am also very skilled in deep tissue, prenatal, hot stone, sports, and Swedish massage. I have recently become certified in Oncology Massage and the Aromatouch Technique. Aromatherapy is another passion of mine, I will be a certified Aromatherapist very soon!

Have 1 complaint, that massages aren't 3-4hrs longer. She's amazing. I used to only get massages from men because I love deep tissue massages. Never again due to Laurel. She's ex-military and very strong. Tough enough to handle the type of deep tissue massages when I need those. But gentle when I've injured myself and need a caring touch. If you cant find an appt opening on her website, call her, she'll find a way to help you. Your health comes first to her and she'll extend her day to help you. Just amazing.

From the preliminaries about sounds\scents I needed to find the most relaxing atmosphere to her focused attention on those extra painful areas (and I suffer from Chronic Pain), the entire experience was well worth it! Laurel was able to gently work out months-old knots and aches while using the highest professional standards. She was caring, thoughtful and I will definitely be a repeat customer.... She is well versed in essential oils and post-massage treatment to ensure each person gets the most of our of their massage.
