I'm JJ Ueunten (they/them/theirs), and I'm a licensed massage therapist. Blue Turtle Bodywork, my practice, exists to provide high quality bodywork in an environment that affirms people’s whole selves.
I believe in touch and bodywork as part of self-care and healing, and being in better relationship with our bodies which helps us in our relationships to other people and the world.
I’m humbled to do something that I love for work. I strive to be trauma informed and affirming of all people and bodies.

I absolutely adore JJ and their work! He makes me feel comfortable and safe as a trans person and it has been an absolute joy to get to know him and bond over our heritage. After having had multiple appointments with them I can say that his work has made me feel more present and comfortable in my body. I'd recommend to anyone and especially other QTPOC folks!

of course would recommend JJ. They have very kind and warm energy- great for body work. They are skilled and I've enjoyed my sessions so far. We first talk through areas we would like to focus on which is helpful to revisit conversation before session due to changes in our body. Will recommend to QTBIPOC folks looking for a practitioner.
