I am a native of Savannah, Georgia; a place and community that prides itself for their gracious hospitality.  As an adult, I carried these innate traits with me to Greensboro, North Carolina where I attended the Kneaded Energy School of Massage. Though introduced to many modalities, I enjoy what I refer to as a “Heavy-Handed Swedish” massage the most.  I enjoy incorporating essential oil blends, hot and cold stones, cupping therapy and therapeutic passive stretching to lengthen muscles aiding in the body’s ability to receive the benefits of massage. I strive to meet every client’s needs in an attentive and caring way.  My approach is holistic with special attention focused on the concerns of my client.  I use firm and fluid techniques in my massages to promote both a sense of relaxation while ensuring an effective approach to treatment.  I am very intuitive and absolutely love my work.  I bring a gentle demeanor and heart centered approach to my profession. When I am not at Urban Essentials Massage & Wellness, I enjoy maintaining a healthy lifestyle that includes physical activities such as weightlifting, running, hiking and other weekend warrior sports.
