Hello! I'm a recent graduate of Springs Bath House School of Massage Therapy.
What attracted me to becoming a massage therapist is that I don't do the same thing every day. (I do massage everyday, but every massage is different). Massaging is just trying to find a way to make the muscles dance (by getting them to loosen up) and every body has a different tune they dance to. So, that being said. I never do the same massage twice and I love that aspect of being a massage therapist.
I do traditional massages, like a relaxing Swedish or a deep tissue massage. Some of the different massages I do are warm stone and table top Thai. Warm stone massage is using smooth river rocks as part of the massage, warming up your muscles faster so you can get a deeper, more relaxed massage. Table top Thai is a stretching massage that originated in Thailand and increases flexibility and range of motion.
