Jen considers herself a life-long student of the body, and utilizes the combination intuitive and scientific knowledge as a powerful catalyst for growth and healing. Her intuitive approach to both bodywork and strength training is based on connecting with each individual and assessing their unique needs. She draws from her knowledge of anatomy, yoga, meditation, sports medicine, and nutrition, as well as her studies abroad to create specific treatment plans and goals for clients with a diverse range of conditions and goals.

Treating pain from posture, lifestyle, and injury requires a holistic approach that addresses every piece of the puzzle. Through Eastern and Western healing practices, each session aims to uncover the root causes of pain, stress, and physical ailments to create personalized treatments that promote long-term change. She is passionate about guiding clients towards tapping into their body’s self-healing powers, developing their own personal practice of self-care, and gaining a greater understanding of how to achieve fluidity and freedom within their bodies.

She is a Licensed Orthopedic Massage Therapist, graduating in December 2010 from Cortiva Institute in Boston.

In the years since then, Jen has had opportunity to study with bodywork and coaching masters across the globe. In 2012, Jen completed an intensive certification training in Orthopedic and Myofascial massage therapy with Tom Karis.

In 2014/2015, she traveled to Chiang Mai, Thailand where she studied Thai massage with several master teachers and practitioners. Jen spent the majority of her time with Master Pichest Boonthumme, a legendary teacher of Dharma, Buddhism, and Thai massage.

She received her 200 RYT in Bali, Indonesia in a training led by Cat Kabira, and teaches a variety of classes in the Boston/Cambridge area.

In 2017, Jen graduated from the National Academy of Sports Medicine with a certification in Personal Training and Strength & Conditioning. She continues to pursue continuing education as a coach through programs such as Functional Movement Screening and StrongFirst.
