What attracted you to a career in massage? I have always wanted to help people and take care of them. I spent many years working as a nurse, a swimming instructor, a yoga teacher, an acupuncturist and finally as a massage therapist.
Which school did you attend and which certifications do you hold? I attended CITCM for both Massage Therapy and the Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine programs.
What techniques do you specialize in? What issues or conditions does your work help improve? I really love relaxation massage and generally working out the sore back and neck that so many suffer from these days. I also enjoy performing cupping on my clients, I get great results and allows me to use some of my other skills.
Where are you available to provide massage? I live and work in SW Calgary
What hobbies and other interests do you have? I have a very strong interest in bodybuilding and nutrition which led me into pursuing a Personal Fitness Instructor and studying Nutrition.

I was a little put off considering it was his first time working with me and he didn't ask many questions before getting started, didn't do any assessment, and didn't ask for consent to work on gluts, or to use extremely liberal draping on the gluts. I was also a little startled by the type of draping used on the back of my legs, which involved roughly sticking his hand between my inner thighs to tuck the sheet, instead of lifting my leg and tucking. Time management was poor - the therapist spent 30-45 minutes on the posterior aspect of 1 leg, not even including the gluts, simply repeating the same effleurage/ stripping techniques. When working around the retracted scapula, it felt like his elbow was hitting bone instead of muscle. Because he spent so much time on the posterior legs, work on the neck was cursory, even though we had 1hr & 45 min. I probably won't rebook given his rates.

From start to finish Todd’s professionalism is outstanding. It’s been quite a while since I’ve had a massage so he was able to work out all the knots. I will definitely be booking Todd for regular massages.

Todd provided a very therapeutic and relaxing massage. I had a stubborn knot in my right shoulder that had stuck around for months. To my great surprise, Todd was able to completely release the tension there. He also massaged the rest of my body. Afterwards, I felt super relaxed and grounded. I'd highly recommend Todd to my friends and family.
