Hot Stone Massage Session

Smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with oil or essential oils, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.

Rachel Safranek, LMT, is passionate about her work as a massage therapist. Born and raised on a farm near Byron, Illinois, Rachel has first-hand knowledge how much of a toll everyday hard work can have your body. Rachel was drawn to massage therapy due to her fascination with the interconnectivity between the mechanics of the body and the healing power of touch. She studied at the University of Spa and Massage in Springfield, Illinois. Rachel offers a range of massage techniques such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Prenatal, which she adapts to her client's individual needs and physical challenges. Although each massage is unique, Rachel's overall goals are the same: to treat the negative effects of chronic stress and injuries on the body, to induce a level of balance and degree of tranquility between the body and mind, and to provide an overall rejuvenating and relaxing experience.
