She has created a very calm and welcoming environment-- the lighting, sounds and scents immediately cued me to begin unwinding. I guess given the ongoing pandemic and the consequent reopening of state businesses, it is appropriate to submit a review of my recent massage with DeAnna since the health crisis hit. First off, I will say the skill and professionalism with which she conducts the massage is still above and beyond, remaining unchanged. The addition of the air purifier, equipped with HEPA filter, to the room is a comforting touch. The requirement of the face mask initially seemed like it might distract from the massage, but I'm happy to report that was merely fear that the massage wouldn't be the same with a mask on. I have to laugh now because a few minutes into the massage that fear swiftly evolved into tranquility and the much sought after calming presence of mind and body that I have come to know and love with Dee's massages. So, fear not, the massage remains a pleasant experience!

The intro: Deanna's studio is located in a beautiful building in downtown Burlington at the top of Church Street. Walking up flights of stairs and down a long historic hallway was her smiling face awaiting my arrival. The table was ready with fresh bedding and the smell of the room was aromatic oils. She asked if I had any areas to focus on and after I replied, she exited the room and I got on the table. The music was soft, comforting, and gentle.
The massage: I asked for a 90-minute and every minute was worth it. She was able to get tiny muscles in my neck and face that have been bothering me all week. She got knots out of my spine and neck. I felt 100% after leaving - my body, mind, and soul were filled with relief.
