Massage can be used both for relaxation and therapeutically to ease stress, aid circulation, and alleviate muscle tension. It's a career I really enjoy and am always looking to broaden my horizons by learning new techniques through further education, shared education from other therapists, or my own research. I am a positive person and now have an opportunity to help people beyond just scheduling the appointments or checking them in for their appointments.

I found Julia's style helpful and she knew the best way to work my sports injury to my hamstring and calf muscle. That was helpful. I think there needs to be a deeper sense of presence and quiet for a therapeutic space to be developed. She talked a bit much for me, but good she acknowledged that at the end of our time. I know that happens over many years of experience. For a fairly new massage therapist I would rate Julia as a solid GOOD, and with more experience with creating a healing tone and space even better. Probably a phone conversation ahead would help too; I didn't clearly understand what the particular deep massage meant via others, as each therapist uses differing language. Thank you!
